The Witte Molen in Nijmegen
The Witte Molen (‘White Mill’) is the only fully functional windmill in Nijmegen. Organically cultivated wheat is ground here in artisan fashion. The Witte Molen produces a wide range of bakery products for local organic bakers and food manufacturers. In the mill store you can purchase organic wheats, flours, flakes and animal food.
The mill, originally dating from 1760, is run by miller Hans Titulaer, member of the dutch Guild of Artisanal Millers, assisted by millers Douwe Wijma, Jeoffrey van Arkel, Martin Meulmeester and Wilma Timmers and Mariska Bouw, Anja van Grinsven, Lieke Titulaer and Annelies Emmen (shop staff).
